Mellis Church of England Primary School - 'To Be Our Best'

Our Science Coordinator Mrs Bates has launched a whole school science project, looking at growth and the science within a seed - a sunflower seed to be exact!

All the children of the School will be given a seed and invited to see if they can grow it and look after it over the next few months! Children can post pictures of their seed's development into a seedling and measure it and record its growth! 

The aim is a virtual field of sunflowers, and perhaps next year we might do the same again with the seeds we harvest from this year's crop!
