+++ Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. no external formal assessments took place for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years

Despite there being no national testing carried out in 2020 or 2021, the School carried out its own internal assessments in 2021 so as to monitor progress during the pandemic and to provide parents, children and high school with relevant academic information. For this, the School used the following resources for continuity and comparability with previous years:

1) Year 6 - used 2019 SATs papers and teacher assessment for writing backed by Local Authority trained Yr6 writing moderator

2) Year 4 Multiplication Check - School involved in voluntary check prior to mandatory particIpation in 2022

3) Year 2 - used 2019 SATs papers and teacher assessment back by Local Authority trained Yr 2 moderators

4) Year 1 - used previously issued Phonics Check Papers for a Summer Phonics check. This is being  used to inform teaching and learning of Phonics prior to the cohort taking their formal Phonics Check in Autumn 2021 in Year 2.

5) Reception - teacher assessed according to normal criteria.

Please note that Years 3-5 also conducted their normal end of year assessments.

Year 6 Results for Maths, Reading and Writing 2021
